I am running my 4th half-marathon this October with Team Impossible, my second Columbus half-marathon. Team Impossible represents Impossible Performance (Home | Impossible Health Coach (impossibleperformance.com)), an organization started by Matt Hill, who is a great friend to my brother-in-law and sister. Matt battled rare pediatric cancer which caused him to lose his leg and almost his life. Now, he performs amazing feats in powerlifting and endurance races (including racing in this marathon!) while using his personal story to connect with others on how they can overcome impossible situations with the power of the mind.

The Nationwide Children's Hospital Columbus Marathon & 1/2 Marathon goal is to raise funds to support life-saving research and care for all children, regardless of their family's ability to pay. I am running this race to support Matt, Team Impossible, and the many children who receive treatment and care at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
