Do the Impossible for Kids!!

In 2013, I was diagnosed with pediatric cancer.

At 18 years old, I was told I would endure 9 months of intensive chemotherapy, receive an amputation of my right leg, and be forced to put my life plans on hold after graduating High School that Spring.

Throughout that time, I faced many hardships due to complications of chemotherapy that very nearly ended my life.

But what I wasn’t told was that I would get a front row seat to witness the very best of humanity. I would develop life-long friendships that would carry me through the pain; I would be lifted up by the immense strength of a small community when I needed it most; I would receive care at a world class hospital where the staff became far more than just health care professionals, they became family and friends.

In 2013, my mission was to “Be Impossible.”

And We Did the Impossible.

Now, exactly 10 years after my life was miraculously saved at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, I will return to once again Do the Impossible, and run the Columbus Marathon as an amputee and ECMO survivor.

And once again, I need your help.

We are going to Do the Impossible, but this time, we will be helping countless children who are facing the exact hardships I faced a decade ago.

We are going to raise $26,200 for Childhood Cancer Research.

This is an Impossible Goal itself, but if we can find 1,000 capable of giving $26.00, this money could help save the life of at least one more child, like mine was saved.
