Off Ice Miles for Bryce
Thank you for visiting Bryce Miller's Children's Champion page.
Bryce Miller suffered a brain bleed on Sunday, March 26th. He underwent emergent surgery to relieve the pressure in his brain and another procedure to treat the aneurysm that bled. He initially required ventilatory support, the placement of a feeding tube, an internal drain to relief the fluid build-up within his brain, and has graduated from Acute Inpatient Rehab. Since then, Bryce has been discharged home and continues to make great improvements. Bryce has been selected to be a Mile Champion for the NCH Race in October!
This page has been created by the Neurocritical Care (NCC) team at Riverside Methodist Hospital, where Dr. Chad Miller, Bryce's father works. Dr. Miller was pivotal in creating the NCC unit and team. The RMH NCC family want to show Bryce and the Miller Family how much support they have in the journey ahead.
Our goal is to raise funds to support other children who may not have the means and support to receive the care that they deserve. NCH is committed to treating all children regardless of their family’s ability to pay, which cannot be achieved without community support and generosity. We are participating in the race for this mission and we are determined to help children from all 50 states and more than 60 countries treated at NCHs.
