Research shows that more than 50% of all lifetime mental disorders start by the age of 14.
Children’s mental health needs champions, so today, we are pleased to announce that our fundraising efforts throughout the holiday season will go directly towards the On Our Sleeves Movement for Children’s Mental Health – a nonprofit organization committed to breaking stigmas and helping families talk about mental health with their children. On Our Sleeves provides free mental health resources for parents, teachers, and caregivers across the united states.
According to pre-pandemic numbers, 1 in 5 children is living with a mental illness.
We can all feel there is a youth mental health crisis, and we all know someone who has been impacted, but stigma remains. Children don’t wear their thoughts on their sleeves, so we don’t know what they are going through. Many of us didn’t grow up talking about mental health.
That’s why On Our Sleeves was created.
Please help us in supporting their important mission by donating today. You can learn more about the On Our Sleeves movement for Children’s Mental Health by browsing here at onoursleeves.org.
On Our Sleeves is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN: 88-4419089). All donations are tax-deductible.
