Nationwide Children's Hospital and the Columbus Marathon:
In 1892, a group of citizens held a sale to raise money for the care of sick, impoverished children. That effort led to the opening of Nationwide Children's Hospital in 1894. For more than a century, the hospital has existed to care for every child, for every reason.
2024 marks the 13th year of Nationwide Children's Hospital's partnership with the Columbus Marathon. In that time, more than $13 million has been raised to support patients and their families.
