Children in our families, communities, and around the world need our help now more than ever with the growing mental health challenges they are faced with on a daily basis. While mental health issues are as prevalent as ever, children and adults alike are often expected to manage these issues without adequate resources, education, or preparation. Let this run be dedicated to not only the children that this research will impact, but to people of all ages who struggle with mental health and the stigmas that surround it.
Mental Health is Health. Spread the word.
Special shoutout to Dani for dedicating her life to mental health counseling and challenging me to learn and grow more as an advocate in daily life. You're my inspiration, buddy. And another special shoutout to my best man Kevin for doing this with me and being the inspiration behind the team name. Always Believe. Up The Villa.
The Butterfly Run, presented by Big Lots, is a community fitness event to grow awareness, break stigmas, and raise funds for lifesaving pediatric behavioral health research at Nationwide Children's Hospital. More than just another 5K run and walk, The Butterfly Run is an event for anyone around the country to come together to advocate and improve outcomes for children living with mental illness. Invest in the future of children's mental health. Join me in this On Our Sleeves movement for children’s mental health.
All donations are tax-deductible and will be acknowledged by Nationwide Children’s Foundation.
On behalf of the patients and families of Nationwide Children’s Hospital, thank you for your support!
