The Butterfly Run, presented by Big Lots, is a community fitness event to grow awareness, break stigmas, and raise funds for lifesaving pediatric behavioral health research at Nationwide Children's Hospital. More than just another 5K run and walk, The Butterfly Run is an event for anyone around the country to come together to advocate and improve outcomes for children living with mental illness. Invest in the future of children's mental health. Join me in this On Our Sleeves movement for children’s mental health.
All donations are tax-deductible and will be acknowledged by Nationwide Children’s Foundation.
On behalf of the patients and families of Nationwide Children’s Hospital, thank you for your support!
Hello, my name is Aubrey and I am the District Training Leader for District 80 at Big Lots. I am super excited to a part of a great company and a great partnership with Nationwide Children’s Hospital. I am excited to be a part of this year’s Butterfly Run because Children’s Mental and Behavioral Health is a very important and personal topic to me. As a father of an autistic child, I can tell you the struggles and difficulties are very real. And it’s because of the continual awareness brought about by Nationwide Children’s Hospital thru campaigns like the Butterfly Run that we continue to understand more and more about these children and how we can provide the best care and ultimately the best life for them. Please join my team and many others around the country in reaching our donation goal and participating in the fun we will be having through pictures posted on here and posts on social media. For example: our team is setting up Gratitude Jars in our break rooms for our associates to be able to spread good news and thoughts and taking time to reflect on the good things in life! #OnOurSleeves #BigLotsCares
