Hi all, and welcome to my fundraising page! I am once again fundraising for the On Our Sleeves 5K (previously the Butterfly Run). I am hoping I can count on my friends and family to help mr raise funds and awareness for children's mental health. The past couple of years I have paranormal in the run virtually since it hasn't been able to be done in person, but this year it is back! I decided to do it virtually again so I can volunteer at the race instead. It warms my heart that so many are willing to help raise awareness. If you should happen to donate thank you so much, it really means the world to me. If you can't, that's ok too, I just appreciate you taking the time to read this and maybe you can be an advocate too by sharing this fundraiser with others.
I started working in the mental health field 5 years ago and it has been the best experience ever. It has opened my eyes to the enormous need to break mental health stigmas and be an advocate for children's mental health. It has even inspired me to get my degree in psychology so I can advance my knowledge and help even more!
The On Our Sleeves 5K, presented by Big Lots, is a community fitness event to grow awareness, break stigmas, and raise funds for lifesaving pediatric behavioral health research at Nationwide Children's Hospital. More than just another 5K run and walk, The On Our Sleeves run is an event for anyone around the country to come together to advocate and improve outcomes for children living with mental illness. Invest in the future of children's mental health. Join me in this On Our Sleeves movement for children’s mental health.
All donations are tax-deductible and will be acknowledged by Nationwide Children’s Foundation.
On behalf of the patients and families of Nationwide Children’s Hospital, thank you for your support!
