I am participating in the 2024 On Our Sleeves 5K hosted by the Columbus Crew! As a teacher, I unfortunately regularly witness the harsh reality of children’s mental health struggles going unacknowledged. These kiddos are harboring big feelings and receive little support. Thankfully, there are programs like On Our Sleeves working to change this narrative.
The 5K supports On Our Sleeves, The Movement for Children's Mental Health. On Our Sleeves is on a mission to give free expert-created resources to all U.S. communities so everyone can understand and promote mental health for children.
Kids don’t wear their mental health on their sleeves, and by supporting my efforts, you are helping to break stigmas and give kids a voice. No action is too small. No voice is too young.
