I could never begin to thank each doctor, nurse, and caregiver for their compassion and love during Allie's stay at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Running the 1/2 marathon gives me a chance to give back to the hospital that gave our family so much. Running the 1/2 marathon is not easy, but neither is the journey of so many children who face the unimaginable every day at Nationwide Children's Hospital. I dedicate my run to Allie and the children like her whose marathons ended all too soon.
