Dear Friends,

I hope this letter finds you well.  I am once again lacing up my running shoes to participate in the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Marathon, which will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2024.  This event has always held a special place in my heart, and each year, I run with deep gratitude for the exceptional care that my family has received and continues to receive from Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

This year, however, my run carries an even deeper significance as a youth in our congregation was recently diagnosed with cancer.  In running this marathon, I am standing in solidarity with this young person and their family, lifting them up in prayer and running to support the incredible work being done by Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

The funds raised through this marathon will directly benefit the hospital’s life-saving programs and research, providing care and hope to countless families facing similar battles.  I am reaching out to you, dear friends, to ask for your support in this vital cause.  Every donation, no matter the size, makes a significant impact in the lives of these children and their families.

Running this marathon is one small way I hope to raise awareness and funds to ensure that Nationwide Children’s Hospital can continue to provide exceptional care to children and families in need.
