Thank you for visiting my Children's Champion page. Did you know the purpose of the Nationwide Children's Hospital Columbus Marathon & ½ Marathon is to raise funds to support life-saving research and care? Nationwide Children’s Hospital is committed to treating all children regardless of their family’s ability to pay, which cannot be achieved without community support and generosity. I am participating in the race for this mission and I am determined to help children from all 50 states and more than 60 countries treated at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Won’t you join me in helping kids everywhere?

This is my fourth event with Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and my second attempt at running the marathon. It is truly an amazing event and so special to see the kids at nationwide hospital and their families lining the streets on race day. They decorate the mile markers with their favorite theme, and they have big smiles on their faces while cheering the runners on! It is an absolute honor to be cheered on by these amazing, strong, warriors. 

This year I have decided to join a team of a dear friend and fundraising for the home care department at Columbus Children’s Hospital. These care workers and families need financial help and more importantly prayers and support as they face difficult situations and patient care each day. Please join me in praying for these families, nurses, medical assistants, doctors, and researchers as they continue to walk challenging roads and provide endless patient care. 

My heart had a very special place this year for this specific department, and I would appreciate your support to help these little ones.
