On April 17th, Adam will run in the Boston Marathon in support of all people living with LAL-D. Donations will support gene therapy research. Dr. Paul Martin from Nationwide Children’s Hospital is conducting gene therapy research for Ella's rare disease: LAL-D. This condition causes hypercholesterolemia and liver disease. The current treatment is bi-weekly infusions for life. Dr. Martin's results in a mouse model have been positive so far. The research is very expensive and more funds can add staffing to this project and accelerate progress. Thank you for considering! Every gift makes a difference.
Our LALD Support group is fundraising for Dr. Martin's LALD research. All donations are tax-deductible and will be acknowledged by Nationwide Children’s Foundation.
